I am fighting for the protection of prairie dogs and associated wildlife species. I am a professional prairie dog relocator, over 20 years, a 4th generation Colorado native and have a very good background in Colorado land use law. I have relocated probably over 10,000 prairie dogs over my career.

I’m signing for all of the innocent victims who cannot have a voice of their own.

Still loving our third rescue dog, now over 11 years old and the most challenging yet due to her many issues from her past horrible life when she was found starving with over 100 other dogs on remote BLM land in Dec. of 2009. By the time Park County Animal officers found them, eight were already dead; many were barely clinging by a thread to their miserable lives, near starvation with no adequate shelter freezing to death. I’ll never forget seeing on TV news a dog on its back legs fiercely clinging with its front paws onto a rescuing officer. That image is embedded in my memory. Our local shelter took in as many as it could, as did others across CO. I wrote a letter to the presiding judge asking for the strictest sentence available for the wealthy low-life who caused this, Sam Walker, owner of a multi-acre ranch in Florissant. When his so-called racing dog kennel financial venture did not succeed, he just quit paying his employees and left all the dogs to starve! His so-called vet testified under oath that he had not once visited the kennel. Sam Walker got only a slap on the wrist, a $2000 fine and 90 days in Park County jail where he was let out one weekend to attend his daughter’s wedding.


I believe it is our duty and responsibility to fight for ALL animals because they are at our mercy. An abused child can speak to someone. Abused animals can’t. We must give them a voice.

Valerie Hunter-Goss is fighting for the breeding puppy mill dogs because they are forced to breed over & over, live in small cages with a wire floor 24/7, have little to no veterinary care, have no social interaction with humans, are considered ‘livestock’ and treated like a commodity (grain, soybeans, corn), etc.

I rescued male and a female pregnant Chihuahua that were on there way to the dog pound. Mom had four babies, I found wonderful homes for two and I kept 2. So now I have a family and momma is so happy she lives with two of her babies. I have never been a little dog person I always had labs. My four babies have found their way into my heart. and now I can’t imagine my life with out them. Andi

I’m fighting for all animals: domestic, captive, and wild. The status quo of animals being inferior to humans needs to stop.

I support protection from cruelty and in-humane treatment for all animals. And, I believe in imposing both jail time and hefty fines for perpetrators of heinous acts against our innocent pets.
