I feel very strongly about doing everything possible to regulate the breeding industry in order to both improve conditions for the animals involved and to limit the numbers bred so that animals in shelters have a greater chance to be adopted. I believe efforts should include domestic rabbit breeders, particularly given that this species is now the 3rd most popular companion animal in the US, and are a highly social and intelligent species. I am also involved in fighting for bans on the use of animals in research, and on products tested on animals. Europe has already led the way on these issues and has much to teach us!

I foster for cat rescues, but I want ALL animals to be respected and treated humanely.

I am passionate about horse and dog rescue, but farm animal care is also important to me because there is no excuse for cruelty to animals. I am opposed to killing wild animals as well.

Commercial breeding dogs who are kept in cages their whole lives for profit and then destroyed when no longer useful. We have dedicated our lives to give these dogs the opportunity to live out their lives being loved and having the care they so deserve.
